Working for Wetlands

Aurecon, in conjunction with GroundTruth, were awarded the Working for Wetlands (WfWet) planning cycle from 2016 to 2019. Wetland rehabilitation planning for WfWet is a phased approach, which includes coarse scale planning, catchment prioritisation, wetland prioritisation, infield verification, detailed rehabilitation planning in selected wetlands, wetland functioning and integrity assessments, environmental engineering, implementation support.

Although GroundTruth will oversee the wetland component of the WfWet cycle, GroundTruth will undertake Phase 1 and 2 planning within the Eastern Cape, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal provinces.
